Shane's a dynamic speaker who skilfully blends his years of experience in corporate and consulting with multinationals, head of a corporate university and 11+ years real coaching and entrepreneurial experience.
A former C-Suite Executive turned strategic advisor and executive coach, Shane wrote and published Future Ready Leadership, a book described as 'unputdownable', which lays out the 8 Must Have Strategies that leaders need to thrive in the VUCA future.
He runs GoFor10 LLC which is an education ecosystem that provides 'education for the new way of living'. GoFor10 has programs for both adults and youths in the areas of business, money, health and relationships.
But it wasn't always that way.......
Shane is from a small village in Trinidad in the Caribbean. His childhood was marked with poverty, domestic violence and family illiteracy.
He did not have electricity or running water until he was 10, almost dying of starvation when he was 5 and had to study for my 11+ exam with a kerosene lamp.
With his beloved scout leader passing at an early age, he had no real mentor or guide to pull him through a tough early childhood, so he had to develop his own principles of success and went on to defy the odds and become a published author and now holds a Master’s Degree in Strategic Thinking and a Master’s Degree in eBusiness.
Shane was trapped in the corporate matrix for many years while his higher calling and purpose of coaching was gnawing at him. He was finally able to break free and create several businesses with helping people and organisations reaching their highest potential and happiness as the common vision.
